APRIL 11 – 13

Show Begins in

The Fun & Fast Paced Art Show!

About Us

Square Foot Show began as a small, annual art party in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Each year, Julia Veenstra’s tiny studio was filled with work from local artists, each piece the same price and size. It was a huge success every time, with a lineup around the block in the dead of Canadian winter.

Until the pandemic, that is. So, Julia joined forces with some friends who had proven themselves in marketing and they moved the show online together. It was a massive success, with Square Foot Show quickly becoming known as “The Black Friday of Art”, consistently bringing thousands of new collectors across five continents to each show, with many artists selling out in mere minutes.

SquareFootShow’s vision is to build a thriving artistic community around the world, raise the profile of artists, and introduce novice and experienced art collectors to emerging and established artists alike.

Kristy Andrews (@kristyandrewsart) was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and currently lives in Northport, Alabama. She comes from a family full of artists and grew up watching and painting with her Grandfather. It wasn't until the pandemic began that Kristy decided to take a chance and share her work with others. She is inspired by the beauty of nature and tries to capture it using acrylics, oil pastels and occasional mark making with pencils. When Kristy is not painting, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to the Alabama coast or New Orleans, where she finds an abundance of inspiration.

Lance Henderson (@lhendersonart) joins our Landscapes show, April 11 - 13.
Florida-born artist Lance Henderson has been painting on-and-off for over 30 years. As a graduate of Liberty University’s Bachelor of Science program, Lance has never taken formal training towards the fine arts. Furthermore, outside of the occasional online tutorials, books, or grade school art classes, his work exhibits only talents that have been self-taught through trial and error; a feature which he believes anyone can achieve with the desire to do so. As a professional artist, for the past three years, his award winning body of work has been displayed primarily in Charlotte County, Florida.
Lance's work mainly consists of landscapes and seascapes created with oil paints on various different substrates. While the scene and size may vary, Lance hopes that each piece is a proponent of Psalm 19:1, and that his work also declares God’s majesty one canvas at a time.

We are please to have Leah Bargen (@leahbargensart) in our April Landscapes show! Leah Bargen is an acrylic artist who is inspired by nature and light. She paints from her life and creates artwork that reflects her adventures and favorite pastimes, including hiking, gardening and exploring with her family. Her range of work is broad, encompassing everything from landscapes to still life/florals to figurative work.
Now that her four children are school age, Leah is giving her Fine Art business more time and commitment. Currently, she resides in Red Deer with her husband and children. Leah has a Degree in Honors Environmental Biology 2008, and a Fine Art Diploma 2011.
Lorrie Walsh (@sibleystoneworks) joins 55 artists for our April 11-13 show! The heartfelt creations of Thunder Bay artist, Lorrie Walsh celebrate the unique character of Northwestern Ontario and the north shore of Lake Superior. Her charming and colourful artwork captures the remote beauty and distinctive influence of the north shore, offering a vivid perspective that is both as bold and brilliant as the local landscapes that forever inspire her.
