Show Begins in

Square Foot Show began as a small, annual art party at Julia Veenstra’s studio in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada—each piece just 12×12 and at a single price. Since 2020, it has exploded into an online “Black Friday of art,” with collectors and artists spanning the globe and many artists selling out in just minutes. We love nothing more than connecting thousands of collectors from across the world with incredible artwork from artists they might never otherwise encounter, all through our fun and fast-paced virtual shows.

The fun continues with November’s annual “Julia Veenstra & Friends” show, featuring a roster of 46 incredible artists selected by Julia Veenstra herself. Held on the 2nd Thursday of each month for 24 hours, these shows bring bold, curated collections to life in an exciting and fast-paced format. We recognize that current events make multi-national events like this complicated. To help bring clarity, we’ve increased transparency around the origin of artwork and have written a letter outlining the impact of tariffs on artists and collectors. Read the letter on Tariffs.

🇨🇦 Julie deBoer (@julie.deboer.art) says: "I’m Julie deBoer. I create art with bold and joyful strokes celebrating the natural world, from my studio in Bearspaw, Alberta, Canada.

My work is in a season of evolution, but at its heart remains my deep, guttural desire to capture the power and awe I experience in nature. My faith shapes how I see it. The Bible describes mountains breaking into song, the sky speaking, heavens proclaiming, and trees singing for joy - capturing nature’s act of worship is my own act of worship, my intention, and my wholehearted purpose.

Opposition is at the heart of what draws me to my subjects: a massive storm cloud against a cheerful sky, vibrant color emerging from the shadows, a fragile flower growing unnoticed beneath my feet. Most of all, I’m captivated by light overcoming darkness, the movement toward light, and the hope it carries, which is what I want to convey in my art.

I work in fluid acrylics on canvas. The process begins with intuitive and responsive mark-making, then slows into a methodical, thoughtful process of laying down paint, softening edges, taping off sections, tweaking and adjusting as I go.

As founder of Mastrius, my mission extends to helping artists create without fear and grow through mentorship, community, and collaboration. My own mentors and peers have transformed my art and my life. We grow faster and go farther when we journey together."

This November, Julia Veenstra handpicked more than 50 of your favourite Square Foot Show artists, and each one is bringing more work than we’ve ever allowed.

That means more originals, more styles, and more chances to find the piece you’ve been waiting for. It also means these pieces will go fast. We’ve never had a show this big, and we can’t wait for you to see it.

Mark your calendar for November 12 at 8 pm EST and be ready when the doors open. It’s going to be fun!

Vancouver-based artist 🇨🇦 Jodie Blaney (@jodieblaneyfineart) has been painting for over 15 years, creating expressive, West Coast-inspired paintings inspired by the forests, shorelines, and landscapes of British Columbia. Her style is characterized by bold colour, flowing forms, energy and movement.

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Jodie interprets the natural landscape through a distinctive style that balances recognizable imagery with imagination and expression. Her artistic influences include iconic Canadian painters Emily Carr and Lawren Harris, along with Expressionist artists such as Van Gogh. Trees, pathways, water, and light are recurring elements in her work, transformed through simplified shapes and rhythmic brushwork.

Her paintings are collected across Canada and internationally, and she regularly creates commissioned artwork for private clients. Her studio-gallery is located in South Delta, where she continues to explore new ways of expressing the beauty, atmosphere, and emotional connection she finds in the natural world.

🇺🇸 Jennifer Dunlap (@jenniferdunlapart) says: "I’m a painter of everyday ordinary miracles and divine signs. I’m drawn to the little things that often go unnoticed: a bird in flight, a bloom after a storm, a quiet moment that feels like peace. My art is how I slow down and pay attention. It’s how I hold onto hope, beauty, and the sacred things woven into daily life."
