Delve into the vibrant world of Noémie L. Côté, an award-winning artist whose sugar-pop palette transforms landscapes into symphonies of color and joy. With each bold impasto stroke, Noémie reimagines familiar scenes with renewed vitality, breathing new life into them and leaving the observer uplifted. Her open-impressionist style captures the essence of nature, inviting viewers to see the world through her unique lens.

Looking at a piece by Noémie, one is immediately struck by the exuberant colors and dynamic textures that define her work. Each painting feels alive, as if the land itself pulses with energy and invites exploration. Her vibrant creations inspire a deeper connection to nature, encouraging viewers to embrace the beauty and wonder of the world around them.

Based in Ottawa, Canada’s capital, Noémie is represented in galleries across the country.

We are thrilled to welcome Noémie to headline the first of our new monthly shows at Square Foot Show, with a cast of artists selected by a jury of peers and patrons.

🇨🇦 Trish Murray (@tmurray.art) says: "I’m Trish, an acrylic landscape painter who has recently rediscovered my love of creating art. After many years of teaching, I’ve returned to painting with a renewed sense of joy and purpose.

Much of my inspiration comes from time at my cottage and the natural landscapes I encounter in my daily life. I’m influenced by the Group of Seven, Emily Carr, Van Gogh, and many Impressionist painters, whose work has shaped how I see and interpret the world around me.

Through my paintings, I aim to capture the calm, beauty, and energy of nature. Acrylics allow me to experiment with colour, texture, and movement in a way that feels expressive and true to the landscapes I love.

As I move toward retirement, I hope to continue teaching this time through art, sharing my passion and encouraging others to explore their own creativity."
🇺🇸 Tracy Spain (@colorfulspainart) says: "My name is Tracy Spain and I’m a Pacific Northwest USA artist, in the town of Deer Park, WA. Drawing and painting have always been a part of my life; my earliest memories are drawing and using the little watercolor pans my mom would get for me.

I like to make paintings that capture the little joys of life we tend to take for granted, or that the average person may miss. Such as a scene we may walk by every day, or the scattered sunlight shining on the little trail near our house, or a really good cup of coffee.

While I am new to exhibiting my work, making art is something I have always done. I look forward to making and sharing many beautiful things with people who appreciate creativity."
